First, click and drag your contact form into the staging area.
Make sure the new contact form is selected, and then you will see all of your settings for that specific form in the content menu to the right of your screen.
The first option listed in the settings is where this form will be emailed to. When a visitor of your website fills out the contact form and hits "send", the form must go somewhere to notify you of its contents. Put in an email address here that will be checked regularly for these submissions.
Next you have all of the settings for the fields of the contact form itself. You can have up to six different fields to be filled out in your form. To add a field, hit the box (Circled in the image to the left of this text box) and ensure that there is a check mark. You can customize what each field is asking for by simply typing in what you desire, whether it be name, email, age, address, etc. To make the filling in of a field mandatory for the submission of the form, click the asterisk symbol to the right of the text field, and make sure it is highlighted white!
Under the "Form Fields" settings in your content menu, you have more miscellaneous form settings. You can adjust the text inside the "send" button at the bottom of the form. You can customize the message shown after successfully submitting the form. You can customize the message shown after there is an error submitting the form. You can also customize messages regarding mandatory and email fields. And of course at the bottom of the menu you can add spacing to the top or bottom of the form.
For more customization of your contact form, you can select the design option within the content menu. Once clicked, you can select the preset look of your form, the button preset and size, as well as any other aesthetic settings of your contact form!
